About the Forum

The Russian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Forum will take place under the theme on May 31, 2017 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg, as part of the ‘Zero Day’ programme of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

 The objective of the Forum is to discuss the current climate for small and medium-sized business and the measures which need to be taken in order to strengthen its role in the Russian economy.

 The SME Forum aims to facilitate the unlocking of potential among small and medium-sized businesses in Russia and to broaden dialogue with state bodies, while reducing administrative barriers, increasing the effectiveness of infrastructure, and assisting in the provision of financial and institutional support for MSEs. 

Invited participants in the MSE Forum include representatives of federal and regional legislative and executive bodies, directors of small and medium-sized companies, directors of state and public organizations providing support to SMEs, and representatives of the banking sector, consultancy firms and legal services organizations.
