Alexey Kozhevnikov

Senior Vice President, Russian Export Center

Before joining Russian Export Center (REC), Aleksey worked as Vice-President of the Center for Strategic Research, where he was in charge of developing export potential and export relations of Russia. As head of design and promotion of international export channels at REC, Aleksey is in charge of practical implementation of that strategic research. He also took part in designing the International Cooperation and Export National Project which he supervises.
Aleksey Kozhevnikov graduated from Cherepovets State University with honours majoring in engineering in 2006. At the same time, he graduated from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University majoring in finance and credit. Later he graduated with distinction from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with a master’s degree in Projects Management of Territorial Development.
Aleksey Kozhevnikov worked for PAO Severstal, heading Cherepovets Investment Agency and Vologda Region Development Corporation. Later, from 2013 to 2017, he took the position of Vice-Governor of Vologda Region for Economic Issues, where he also supervised foreign-policy activities. Since May 2018, he is Senior Vice-President of Russian Export Center.
