Born on June 10, 1976 in Yekaterinburg. In 1998 graduated from Syktyvkar State University, majoring in Finance and Credit. In 2002 received a PhD in Economics.

Yevgeny Knyazev has over 20 years of experience in state corporations and companies: 2000–2011 was the CFO at one of the biggest Rosatom’s research and manufacturing facilities. Currently holds the position of the VP for Purchasing at Vnesheconombank. He is a renowned expert in crisis and finance management and purchasing.
