Latin America to Present the Potential of International Cooperation between Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at SPIEF 2016

On June 15, 2016, the Interregional Forum “Strengthening international alliances of small and medium-sized enterprises between Russia and Latin American and Caribbean nations” will be held as part of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2016).

The international Forum is held by the United National Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) with support from the Russian Government.

This event creates exceptional conditions for exchanging the necessary information and creating a platform for a more robust partnership, above all by engaging the potential of small and medium-sized businesses.

The Forum participants will obtain the most relevant, firsthand information about business opportunities and directly discuss the prospects for signing contracts with Russian businesspeople.

In line with the strategy of consolidating alliances on the world market, UNIDO contributes to supporting SME through national export agencies in relevant nations. Special emphasis in the Forum programme is consequently focused on participation by the heads of over 20 national agencies and main exporters / trading firms from the LAC region and the Russian Federation.
